You probably have a lot more on your mind right now than what kind of hand cream you’re using—but if you’re washing your hands more frequently than usual and staying indoors with dry heating, your skin could use some love. My colleague Jessica Kasparian put together a list of all the best hand creams on the market, and when she asked me what kind I keep in my purse and at my desk, I couldn’t shut up about my all-time favorite: this peach hand cream from Tonymoly.
I currently have three different containers of this sweet-smelling moisturizer bouncing around my house, and I plan to stock up again soon to survive this period of social distancing. Here’s why I love this hand cream so much—and where you can buy it for yourself.
Why I love Tonymoly Peach Hand Cream
What could make one jar of moisturizer so special, you ask? I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t initially attracted to the hand cream’s adorable design. Each cream comes packaged into a little plastic peach, which seals tight and can easily be thrown into my bag or displayed on my desk. Tonymoly is a Korean brand known for all sorts of cute, fruit-themed skincare—you may have seen their face masks at Urban Outfitters.
While the individual volume of each container is a single ounce, I’ve found I can still get about a month of daily use from each one—and at $12 a pop, I can afford to stock up.
Beyond the packaging, I love this cream’s thick, moisturizing formula. Shea butter provides the cream’s rich texture, while peach extract leaves my hands smelling amazing, but not so strong as to be off-putting. It also doesn’t leave my hands greasy the same way that thick body moisturizer does.
And then there is, of course, our culture’s current obsession with peaches. “Call Me By Your Name.” “Parasite.” “Animal Crossing.” Instagram butts. Peaches are friendly, they’re funny, and they’re getting me through this bleak springtime—all with the help of this hand cream.
Where to buy Tonymoly Peach Hand Cream
While this hand cream is available at the Tonymoly website, I like to purchase mine at Ulta—I’m usually shopping for other skincare and beauty supplies, anyway.
